Swami is our Father and Mother. He created us and is looking after all our needs and also our desires. However, He oversee everything making certain it goes according to His Will. He pay attention to all details, ensuring the best possible outcome. Our well being and happiness are very important to our Swami. When we are not aware of His Ways and Commands, we make mistakes and bring difficulties and unhappiness our way. When we do not heed or disobey our conscience, we may experience discomfort or difficulty. It is His Will that we remain on the straight and narrow path to God-realization and liberation. However, the vagaries of our mind, other people, and our conditioning allow us to be led astray away from Atmic awareness. We are at fault here. No one else is to blame if we stray from our true nature as Atma, or away from spiritual practice. We must practice vigilance all of the time for God’s Presence. We have the power and will to do this.
